Gall App for Federated Moons

A federated wiki site should be able to integrate %hermes to launch a moon from a planet server.

This proposal expands the internet of things to data objects, especially with respect to scarce objects, and how moons can be used to track data provenance, ownership records and titles in decentralized data markets.

Moons are issued and controlled by their parent planet. This app proposes a model in which planets can opt in to issue subkeys on-demand through https. A parent planet may see Moons launched on their server and can revoke moons at any time. A moon would automatically carry with it a cryptographic guarantee that its communications are secure.

Federated Wiki provides many opportunities to develop data-wrapped visualizations that evolve relative to the information a page abstracts. With pages digitally signed by a unique moon, an origin point for data could be located, and planets could collect and analyze data representing scarce objects, local and regional markets or network effects.

Many of Urbit's current features can already be modeled with wiki. By implementing provenance, immutability, and reputation over an SSI network open-source can stay open while providing a low dimensional topology of information fusion .
